Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
In den nächsten Tagen ist im nördlichen Ost- 
seeraum nur mit leichten bis mäßigen Frost zu 
-echnen, dadurch bleibt die Eisbildung im Norden 
gering. Die Winde sind meist schwach und kommen 
ın der Bottenvik aus eher nördlichen Richtungen. 
Jaher wird die Rinne außerhalb der schwedischen 
Küste schmaler. Im Finnischen Meerbusen werden 
sich die Eisverhältnisse nicht wesentlich verändern. 
In den Küstengewässern des südlichen Ostsee- 
zaumes wird das Eis bis zum Wochenende hin 
weiter abnehmen.

Expected Ice Development 
Only light to moderate frost is to be expected in the 
northern region of the Baltic Sea within the next 
days and therefore only slight ice formation is to be 
expected. The wind are mostly weak and coming 
mostly out of northerly directions in the Bay of 
Bothnia. The lead off the Swedish coast will be 
slowly closing. In the Gulf of Finland the ice 
conditions will not change very much. In the coastal 
waters of the southern region of the Baltic Sea the 
ice decrease will continue until the week-end.
