Finnischer Meerbusen 
Die Eisgrenze verläuft etwa auf der Linie Helsinki- 
_euchtturm — Kalbädagrund —- Mohni. 
Estnische Küste: In der Kundabucht liegt Neueis 
And in der Toilabucht kommt sehr dichtes Nilas vor. - 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären 5-20 cm 
dickes Festeis im westlichen und 15-25 cm dickes 
Festeis im östlichen Teil. Außerhalb davon liegt bis 
Tainio und Haapasaari sehr dichtes dünnes Eis und 
\Veueis, anschließend bis zur Linie Porkkala — 
Kalbädagrund - Mohni Neueis und Neueisbildung. - 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts liegt 
m Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Kronstadt 25-40 
cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt sehr 
dichtes Eis vor, das leicht zusammen gepresst wird, 
die Eisdicke betragt bis zur Länge von Kap Ustinskij 
15-35 cm und weiter bis zur Länge von Mo$CEnyj 10- 
25 cm. Anschließend tritt sehr dichtes, 10-25 cm 
dickes Eis bis zur Länge von Malyj T'uters sowie 
ockeres 10-20 cm dickes Eis bis zur Länge von 
Vaindlo auf. Danach tritt bis zur Eisgrenze Neueis 
auf. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 25-35 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb davon liegt bis Halli 
\eueis. Weiter seewärts kommt bis zum Leuchtturm 
\erva zusammengeschobenes 10-20 cm dickes Eis 
vor, dann bis Malyj T'uters sehr dichtes 10-25 cm 
dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund liegt 10-25 cm dickes 
Festeis, in der Zufahrt bis zur Breite von Kap 
Stirsudden dunkler Nilas, weiter dann leicht 
pressendes, 10-25 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis. - In 
der Luga und Corpora Bucht liegt an den Küsten 10- 
15 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt 
zusammengeschobenes und sehr dichtes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis vor. 
Älandsee 
in geschützten Buchten und Schären liegt dünnes 
ebenes Eis oder Neueis. 
Schärenmeer 
tbenes 5-15 cm dickes Eis uns Neueis bis 
3erahamn im Süden und bis Isokari im Norden. 
Gulf of Finland 
The ice edge runs along about the line Helsinki 
ighthouse — Kalbädagrund —- Mohni. 
Estonian Coast: There is new ice in the Bay of 
Kunda and very close nilas in the Bay of Toila. - 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is 5- 
20 cm thick fast ice in the western part and 15-25 
cm thick fast ice in the eastern part. Farther off 
‘here is to Tainio and Haapasaari very close thin 
ice and new ice, then to the line Porkkala — 
Kalbädagrund - Mohni new ice and ice formation.- 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
‘here is close 15-30 cm thick ice. Farther westwards 
on the fairway there is 25-40 cm thick fast ice up to 
'he longitude of Kronstadt. Farther out to the 
longitude of cape Ustinskij there is very close 15-35 
sm thick ice, which is slowly compressed. Then to 
Ihe longitude of island MoSCnyj very close 10-25 cm 
'hick slow compressed ice. Farther off there is very 
slose 10-25 cm thick ice to the longitude of Malyj 
T'uters , followed by open 10-20 cm thick ice to the 
iongitude of Vaindlo. Further out until the ice edge 
here is new ice. - The Vyborg Bay is covered with 
25-35 cm thick fast ice, farther off to Halli there is 
new ice. Farther seawards to the lighthouse Nerva 
there is compact 10-20 cm thick ice, then to Malyj 
T'uters very close 10-25 cm thick ice. - In the 
Berkezund there is 10-20 cm thick fast ice, in the 
antrance there is dark Nilas till the latitude of Cape 
Stirsudden and further out slow compressed, 10-25 
cm thick very close ice. - In the Luga Bay and the 
Corpora Bay there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice along 
the coasts, farther out compact and very close 10-15 
am thick ice occurs. 
Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is thin 
level ice or new ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
Level 5-15 cm thick ice and new ice to Berghamn 
in the South and to Isokari in the North. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: There is 15-40 cm thick fast ice in 
‘he inner archipelago, farther off thin drift ice and 
new ice occurs for 5-15 nm. - Swedish Coast: In 
'he inner bays and harbours there is up to 30 cm 
‘hick level ice or fast ice. In the north there is level 
and close 5-15 cm thick ice up to a distance of 15- 
30 nm from the coast. In the south there is thin 
level ice and new ice near to the coast. The ice in 
he Bight of Gävile is partly ridged. The 
Ängermanälv is covered with up to 50 cm thick fast 
ice, along the northern border there is some ridged 
ice. At sea ice free. 
Norra Kvarken 
Totally ice covered. 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and Ensten there 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 15- 
40 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon auf 5-15 sm 
dünnes Treibeis und Neueis. - Schwedische Küste: 
In den inneren Buchten und Häfen liegt bis zu 30 cm 
dickes ebenes Eis oder Festeis. Außerhalb davon 
kommt im Norden auf 15-30 sm ebenes und dichtes 
5-15 cm dickes Eis vor und im Süden kommt in 
«üstennähe dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis vor. In 
der Gävle Bucht ist das Eis zum Teil aufgepresst. 
Der Ängermanälv ist mit bis zu 50 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt, an der nördlichen Kante kommen 
einige Presseisrücken vor. Auf See eisfrei. 
Norra Kvarken 
Vollkommen eisbedeckt.
