20-35 cm dickes Festeis, anschließend kommt bis 
Norrskär zusammenhängendes 15-20 cm dickes Eis 
Ind ebenes Eis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Buchten und Häfen entlang der Küste liegt 20-40 cm 
dickes ebenes Eis oder Festeis. Auf See kommt 
sehr dichtes, teilweise aufgepresstes 10-30 cm 
dickes Eis oder ebenes Eis vor. 
Bottenvik 
Vollkommen eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen Schären sind mit 
40-65 cm, die südlichen Schären mit 20-40 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. Außerhalb davon verläuft 
zuerst eine schmale mit dünnem Eis bedeckte 
Rinne, dann kommt bis Merikallat 
zusammenhängendes 15-35 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Weiter südwärts liegt bis MNorra Kvarken 
überwiegend dichtes bis sehr dichtes 15-40 cm 
dickes Eis mit dünnerem Eis dazwischen. Das Eis 
m südlichen Teil ist teilweise aufgepresst. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 30- 
60 cm, in den südlichen Schären bis zu 40 cm 
dickes Festeis. Von Nygrän bis Farstugrunden 
erstreckt sich eine mit ebenem 10-15 dicken Eis 
bedeckte Rinne. Auf See kommen wechselweise 
Bereiche mit sehr dichtem bis zu 50 cm dicken Eis, 
sehr dichtem, teilweise aufgepresstem 10-25 cm 
dicken Treibeis und ebenem 10-20 cm dicken Eis 
vor.

a narrow lead wit thin ice, then consolidated 15-35 
cm thick ice to Merikallat. Farther southwards to 
Norra Kvarken there is mostly close to very close 
'5-40 cm thick ice with thinner ice in between. The 
ice in the southern part is partly ridged. - Swedish 
Coast: The northern archipelago are covered with 
30-60 cm, the southern archipelagos with up to 40 
cm thick fast ice. A lead covered with level 10-15 
cm thick ice runs from Nygrän to Farstugrunden. At 
sea there are alternating areas with very close up 
to 50 cm thick ice, very close and partly ridged 10- 
25 cm thick drift ice and with level 10-20 cm thick 
ice. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Intensive Eisbildung im nördlichen Ostseeraum wird 
weitere zwei Tage andauern. Auch im südlichen 
Ostseeraum ist mit weiterer Neueisbildung in den 
nneren Küstengewässern zu rechnen. Zum 
Wochenende wird die Eisbildung im nördlichen 
Ostseeraum durch Zustrom milderer Luft aus Süden 
JUnterbrochen. In der Bottenvik und in Norra Kvarken 
ist mit einer nördlichen Eisdrift und Pressungen in 
den Eisfeldern zu rechnen. 
Expected Ice Development 
Intensive ice formation in the northern region of the 
Baltic Sea will continue for further two days. In the 
southern region of the Baltic Sea further new ice 
formation is to be expected in the inner coastal 
waters, too. At the end of the week ice formation in 
the northern region of the Baltic Sea will be 
interrupted by inflow of milder air from the South. In 
Ihe Bay of Bothnia and in the Quark northern ice 
drift and ice pressure in the ice fields will occur.
