Neueis vor. - Deutsche Küste: Im Hafen Flensburg, 
‘nn den geschützten Buchten der Flensburger 
innenförde und auf der inneren Schlei tritt örtlich 
dünnes Eis auf. Im Stadthafen Rostock und auf der 
Unterwarnow liegt eine fast geschlossene 
Neueisdecke. Die Boddengewässer südlich vom 
Darß und Zingst sind mit etwa 5 cm dickem Eis und 
Aleueis bedeckt. 
Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In den inneren Boddengewässern 
kommt örtlich dünnes Randeis und Eisschlamm vor. 
Im Hafen Stralsund und in den Zufahrten kommt 
verbreitet Schneeschlamm vor. In den Häfen 
Greifswald-Wieck und Greifswald-Ladebow sowie in 
der Dänischen Wiek kommt etwa 6 cm dickes 
Randeis vor, außerhalb davon liegt fast 
geschlossene Decke aus zusammengefrorenem 
Schneeschlamm. Der südliche Peenestrom ist mit 
dünnem Eis oder Neueis bedeckt. Im Achterwasser 
liegt etwa 13 cm dickes Festeis. Im Kleinen Haff 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, das im 
Südteil zusammen- und übereinandergeschoben ist, 
ınd Neueis. - Polnische Küste: Im Hafen 
Swinoujscie offenes Wasser. Im Haff 5-10 cm dickes 
'ockeres Eis, welches im Fahrwasser Szczecin — 
Swinoujscie teilweise übereinandergeschoben ist. 
Im Hafen Szezecin sehr lockeres 5-10 cm dickes 
Eis. 
There is thin ice in the harbour of Flensburg, in the 
sheltered bays of the Flensburger Innenförde and 
an the inner Schlei in places. In the city harbour of 
Rostock and on the Unterwarnow there is new ice 
zsover. The Bodden waters south of Darß and 
Zingst are covered by about 5 cm thick ice and new 
ice. 
Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In the inner Bodden waters there 
is thin ice and slush near the shore. In the harbour 
af Stralsund and in the entrances there is grease 
ice. The _harbours KGreifswald-Wieck and 
Greifswald-Ladebow as well as the Dänische Wiek 
are nearly totally covered with thin ice and frozen 
slush. On the southern Peenestrom there is ice 
sover of thin ice or new ice. The Achterwasser is 
sovered by about 13 cm fast ice. The Kleines Haff 
is mostly covered with close to very close 10-15 cm 
'hick ice, which is rafted and compacted in the 
southern part, and new ice. - Polish Coast: Open 
water in the harbour of Swinoujscie. In Stettiner 
Haff open 5-10 cm tick ice, on the fairway Szczecin 
—- Swinoujscie the ice is partly rafted and broken. In 
the harbour of Szczecin there is very open 5-10 cm 
tick ice. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Lettische Küste: Eisfrei. - Russische Küste: In der 
Zufahrt nach Kaliningrad liegt 10-15 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon etwas Treibeis. - 
Schwedische Küste: In geschützten Buchten und 
Schären kommt dünnes ebenes Eis oder Neueis 
vor. Mälarsee: Mit 15-30 cm dickem Festeis oder 
ebenem Eis bedeckt. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Im nördlichen und nordwestlichen Teil treibt lockeres 
5-15 cm dickes Eis und Neueis. 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt bis zur 
Linie Kap Liusaare — Kap Suurna 20-28 cm dickes 
Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt bis zur Breite der 
insel Kihnu sehr dichtes 10-15 cm dickes Eis vor 
nd anschließend auf etwa 15-20 sm dunkler Nilas 
ind Neueis. Im Moonsund liegt in der Küstenzone 
15-30 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon treibt 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis. - 
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen von Riga und im 
Fahrwasser zwischen Riga und Irbenstraße kommt 
offenes Wasser vor, sonst eisfrei. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Latvian Coast: Ice-free. - Russian Coast: In the 
entrance to Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast 
ice, off the fast ice some drift ice is found. - 
Swedish coast: In sheltered bays and 
archipelagos there is thin level ice or new ice. Lake 
Mälaren: Covered by 15-30 cm thick fast ice or 
level ice. 
Gulf of Riga 
In the northern and northwestern part open 5-15 
om thick ice and new ice is drifting. 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is to the 
ine Cape Liusaare — Cape Suurna 20-28 cm thick 
‘ast ice. Farther out up to latitude of island Kihnu 
there is very close 10-15 cm thick ice, followed by 
dark nilas and new ice for about 15-20 nm. In the 
zoastal zone of the Moonsund there is 15-30 cm 
'hick fast ice, farther off close to very close 5-15 cm 
ihick ice. - Latvian Coast: In the port of Riga and 
an the fairway between Riga and Irben Strait there 
iS open water. else ice-free. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Die Eisgrenze verläuft etwa auf der Linie Kunda — 
Toila — Bol'Soj T'uters — Gogland — Porkkala. 
Estnische Küste: In der Kunda- und Toilabucht 
kommt Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: In den 
inneren Schären 5-20 cm dickes Festeis im west- 
ichen und 15-25 cm dickes Festeis Im östlichen Teil. 
Gulf of Finland
