Wiek liegt dünnes Randeis und treiben einzelne 
dickere Eisschollen. Im Kleinen Haff dichtes bis 
sehr dichtes 10 cm dickes Eis, das im Südteil 
zusammen- und übereinandergeschoben ist. - 
Polnische Küste: Im Hafen Swinoujscie offenes 
Wasser. Im Haff, im Fahrwasser Szezecin —- 
Swinoujscie und im Hafen Szezecin sehr lockeres 
5-10 cm dickes Eis. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Lettische Küste: Eisfrei. - Russische Küste: In der 
Zufahrt nach Kaliningrad liegt 10-15 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon etwas Treibeis. - 
Schwedische Küste: In geschützten Buchten und 
Schären kommt dünnes ebenes Eis oder Neueis 
vor. Mälarsee: Mit 15-30 cm dickem Festeis oder 
ebenem Eis bedeckt. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt bis zur 
Linie Kap Liusaare — Kap Suurna 20-27 cm dickes 
Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt bis zur Breite der 
Insel Kihnu sehr dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis vor. Im 
Moonsund in der Küstenzone 10-25 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon dichtes bis sehr dichtes 5- 
15 cm dickes Treibeis. - Lettische Küste: Im Hafen 
Riga und im Fahrwasser zwischen Riga und 
irbenstraße kommt sehr lockeres Neueis vor, sonst 
alsfrei.

n the southern part. - Polish Coast: Open water in 
the harbour of Swinoujscie. In Stettiner Haff, on the

Central and Northern Baltic 
Latvian Coast: Ice-free. - Russian Coast: In the 
entrance to Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast 
ice, off the fast ice some drift ice is found. - 
Swedish coast: In sheltered bays and 
archipelagos there is thin level ice or new ice. Lake 
Mälaren: Covered by 15-30 cm thick fast ice or 
level ice. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is to the 
line Cape Liusaare - Cape Suurna 20-27 cm thick 
fast ice. Farther out up to latitude of island Kihnu 
there is very close 5-15 cm thick ice. In the coastal 
zone of the Moonsund there is 10-25 cm thick fast 
‘ce, farther off close to very close 5-15 cm thick ice. 
. Latvian Coast: In the port of Riga and on the 
fairway between Riga and Irben Strait there is very 
open new ice, else ice-free. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Die Eisgrenze verläuft etwa auf der Linie Ust-Narva 
— Insel MoSnyj - Sommers — Orrengrund. 
Estnische Küste: In der Kundabucht kommt in 
Küstennähe Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: In den 
'nneren Schären 5-20 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb 
davon liegt von Kotka und Hamina bis Lälättan und 
Ädaapasaari sehr dichtes dünnes Eis und Neueis. - 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
dichtes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts 
kommt im Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Kronstadt 
20-35 cm dickes Festeis. Weiter bis zur Länge von 
Krasnaja Gorka treibt dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis, 
und bis zur Länge vom Kap Ustinskij kommt Neueis 
vor. Anschließend bis zur Länge vom Kap Kurgalskij 
sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes Eis, dann bis zur 
Länge Malyj Neueis. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 15-30 
cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb davon kommt 
bis zur Breite des Leuchtturms Nerva sehr dichtes 
10-20 cm dickes Eis, dann bis Sommers Neueis 
vor. - Im Berkezund liegt dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis, 
in der Zufahrt kommt sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes 
Eis vor. - In der Luga und der Corpora Bucht 
zusammengeschobenes 5-10 cm dickes Eis an den 
Küsten, außerhalb davon kommt Neueis vor. 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären liegt dünnes 
ebenes Eis oder Neueis. 
Gulf of Finland 
The ice edge runs along about the line Ust-Luga — 
ısland MoSEnyj — island Sommers — Orrengrund. 
Estonian Coast: In the Bay of Kunda there is new 
:ce near to the coast. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelago there is 5-20 cm thick fast ice, farther 
off there is from Kotka and Hamina to Lälättan and 
Haapasaari very close thin ice and new ice.- 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
there is close 15-25 cm thick ice. Farther westwards 
on the fairway there is 20-35 cm thick fast ice up to 
'he longitude of Kronstadt. Farther out to the 
'ongitude of Krasnaja Gorka close 15-30 cm thick ice, 
"hen to the longitude of Cape Ustinskij new ice 
occurs. Farther off to the longitude of Cape Kurgalskij

ongitude of island Malyj new ice. - The Vyborg Bay

Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is thin 
level ice or new ice.
