vor. Mälarsee: Im westlichen und zentralen Teil liegt 
10-25 cm dickes Festeis. Weiter östlich kommt 10- 
15 cm dickes ebenes Eis vor. Bjorkfjärden ist 
größtenteils eisfrei. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt 15-25 cm 
dickes Festeis sowie dichtes Treibeis, außerhalb 
davon kommt bis zur Insel Kihnu dunkler Nilas vor. 
m Moonsund in der Küstenzone 10-15 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon dichtes Treibeis. - 
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen Riga und in den 
Fahrwassern nach Riga treibt sehr lockeres Neueis.

Die Eisgrenze verläuft etwa auf der Linie Sepelevskij 
- Malyj — Loviisa. 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva-, Kunda- und 
Muugabucht kommt Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: 
In den inneren Schären liegt dünnes Eis, außerhalb 
davon Neueis und Neueisbildung. - Russische 
Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg dichtes 15- 
25 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts kommt im 
Fahrwasser 15-30 cm dickes Eis vor: erst bis zur 
Länge von Lomonosov zusammenhängendes Eis, 
dann bis zur Länge von Kronstadt Festeis und weiter 
dis zur Länge von Kap Ustinskij dichtes Treibeis. 
Anschließend bis zur Länge von Malyj tritt Neueis 
auf. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 15-30 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt, in der Zufahrt kommt dichtes bis 
sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes Eis sowie Neueis vor. - 
Im Berkezund liegt zusammengeschobenes 5-10 cm 
dickes Eis, in der Zufahrt kommt dichtes bis sehr 
dichtes 10-20 cm dickes Eis sowie Neueis vor. In der 
Luga und der Corpora Bucht kommt Neueis vor 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären liegt dünnes 
ebenes Eis oder Neueis. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Latvian Coast: In the ports of Liepäja and 
Ventspils as well as on all fairways there is very 
open to close new ice. - Russian Coast: In the 
entrance to Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast 
ice, off the fast ice some drift ice is found. - 
Swedish coast: In sheltered bays and 
archipelagos there is thin level ice or new ice. Lake 
Mälaren: In the western and central part there is 
‘0-25 cm thick fast ice. Farther eastwards 10-15 
cm thick level ice occurs. Bjorkfjärden is mostly ice 
free. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there 15-25 cm 
‘hick fast ice and close drift ice. Farther out up to 
sland Kihnu there is dark Nilas. In the coastal zone 
of the Moonsund there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice, 
‘arther off close ice. - Latvian Coast: In the port of 
Xiga and on the fairways to Riga there is very open 
new ice. 
Gulf of Finland 
The ice edge runs along about the line Sepelevskij 
- Malyj — Loviisa. 
Estonian Coast: In the Bays of Narva, Kunda and 
Muuga there is new ice. - Finnish Coast: In the 
nner archipelago there is thin ice, farther off new 
ice and new ice formation. - Russian Coast: In the 
harbours of St. Petersburg there is close 15-25 cm 
"hick ice. Farther westwards on the fairway the ice 
‘hickness is 15-30 cm: first there is consolidated ice 
:o the longitude of Lomonosov, then fast ice up to the 
ongitude of Kronstadt, farther out to the longitude of
