Tugs and barges are not assisted to Pärnu. 
Icebreaker: EVA-316 is assisting to Pärnu Bay. 
Finland 
The Saimaa Canal is closed for traffic. 
icebreaker: OTSO and KONTIO are assisting in the northern Bay of Bothnia. SISU is assisting in the 
southern Bay of Bothnia. 
Norwegian 
Navigation in Langärsund (Kragero) is temporarily closed 
Russia 
Tow boat-barges are not assisted to St. Petersburg and Primorsk. 
icebreaker: Low-powered vessels to St. Petersburg can be assisted at need by port icebreakers SEMYAN 
DEZNEV, YURI LISYANSKI, IVAN KRUZENSTERN and MUDJUG, in the port Primorsk by icebreaker 
ERMAK and in the ports Vyborg and Vysotsk by icebreaker KAPITAN IZMAILOV. 
Sweden 
Vessels not suitable for winter navigation, river vessels and tugs with barge can not expect governmental 
.cebreaker assistance. 
All ships entering harbours in the Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Björn (N 59° 33’ E 20° 01’) 
contact the VTS Gävle on VHF channel 84. 
Icebreaker: ALE and YMER assist in the Bay of Bothnia.
