Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In den inneren Boddengewässern 
Örtlich dünnes Eis. Im Hafen Stralsund und in den 
Zufahrten zum Hafen kommt Neueis vor. In der 
Dänischen Wiek liegt etwa 5 cm dicke Eisdecke im 
Südteil und Neueis im Nordteil und im Hafen 
Greifswald-Wieck, sonst ist der Greifswalder Bodden 
eisfrei. Im Hafen Wolgast und auf dem nördlichen 
Peenestrom dünnes Randeis und Neueis. Auf dem 
südlichen Peenestrom etwa 10 cm dickes dichtes 
bis sehr dichtes Eis, das stellenweise mit Neueis 
überfroren ist. Im Kleinen Haff liegt dichtes bis sehr 
dichtes 8-12 cm dickes Eis, das stellenweise mit 
Neueis überfroren ist. - Polnische Küste: Im 
Stettiner Haff sehr dichtes 10-15 cm dickes Eis. Im 
Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie kommt dichtes 
10-15 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In the inner Bodden waters there 
is thin ice in places. In the Stralsund harbour and in 
ihe entrances to the harbour there is new ice. In 
Ihe Dänische Wiek there is about 5 cm thick ice 
cover in the southern part and new ice in the 
northern part as well as in the harbour of 
Greifswald-Wieck, else Greifswalder Bodden is ice- 
free. In the harbour of Wolgast and on the northern 
Peenestrom partly thin ice and new ice. On the 
southern Peenestrom there is about 10 cm thick 
close to very close ice, which is partly frozen by 
new ice. In Kleinen Haff there is 8-12 cm thick 
close to very close ice, which is partly frozen by 
new ice. - Polish Coast: In Stettiner Haff there is 
very close 10-15 cm thick ice. On the fairway 
Szeczecin — Swinoujscie close 10-15 cm thick ice 
OCccurs. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In einigen geschützten 
Buchten und Schären kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Im westlichen und 
zentralen Teil liegt 5-20 cm dickes Festeis. Weiter 
östlich kommt in geschützten Buchten Neueis vor. 
Russische Küste: In der Zufahrt nach Kaliningrad 
liegt 10-15 cm dickes Festeis. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In some sheltered bays and 
archipelagos there is thin level ice or new ice. Lake 
Mälaren: In the western and central part there is 5- 
20 cm thick fast ice. Farther eastward there is new 
‚ce in sheltered bays. Russian Coast: In the 
entrance to Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast 
ice. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt 12-15 cm 
dickes Festeis. Im Moonsund kommt in der östlichen 
Küstenzone 5-15 cm dickes Festeis, sonst lockeres 
dünnes Treibeis vor. - Lettische Küste: Der Hafen 
von Riga ist eisfrei, im Fahrwasser Riga — 
Irbenstraße treibt sehr lockeres Neueis. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 12-15 
cm thick fast ice. In the eastern coastal zone of the 
Moonsund there is 5-15 cm thick fast ice, else 
open thin drift ice. - Latvian Coast: The port of 
Riga is ice free, on the fairway Riga — Irben Strait 
very open new ice is drifting. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bay of Kunda there is new 
ice Close to the coast. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelago there is thin ice. - Russian Coast: In 
the harbours of St. Petersburg there is open to close 
15-25 cm thick ice. Farther westwards on the fairway 
there is first to the longitude of Petrodvorec 15-30 cm 
thick open ice, then up to the longitude of lighthouse 
Tolbuchin very close 15-30 cm thick ice, farther out 
ıce to the longitude of the lighthouse Sepelevskij 10- 
20 cm thick close and rafted ice. Farther westwards 
there is to 2840' E dark nilas and new ice. - The 
Yyborg Bay is covered with 15-30 cm thick fast ice, 
Farther out new ice. In the Berkezund, and along the 
coasts of the Luga and Copora Bay there is new ice. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Kundabucht kommt dicht 
an der Küste Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: In den 
inneren Schären liegt dünnes Eis. - Russische 
Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg kommt 
'ockeres bis dichtes 15-25 cm dickes Eis vor. Weiter 
westwärts kommt im Fahrwasser zuerst bis zur 
Länge von Petrodvorec 15-30 cm dickes lockeres 
Eis, dann bis zur Länge des Leuchtturms Tolbuchin 
15-30 cm dickes sehr dichtes Eis, anschließend bis 
zur Länge des Leuchtturms Sepelevskij 10-20 cm 
dickes dichtes und übereinandergeschobenes Eis 
vor. Weiter westwärts tritt bis zu 2840' E dunkler 
Nilas und Neueis auf. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 15- 
30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb davon 
Neueis. Im Berkezund und entlang der Küsten der 
Luga und Copora Bucht kommt Neueis vor. 
Älandsee 
In einigen geschützten Buchten und Schären an der 
schwedischen Küste kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. 
Sea of Äland 
In some sheltered bays and archipelagos along the 
Swedish coast there is thin level ice or new ice.
