Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik ist größtenteils morsch, 
schmilzt und nimmt weiter ab. Das Festeis hat 
angefangen sich von der Küste zu lösen. Aus See 
kommt nur noch vereinzelt Eis vor, es treten aber 
vereinzelt härtere Eisbruchstücke auf, die schlecht 
zu sehen sind und eine Gefahr für Schiffe darstellen. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is, to a large extent, 
rotten, it is melting and continuously decreasing. 
The fast ice has begun to separate itself from the 
coast. At sea ice If found only in some smaller 
areas. But single hard floes, poorly visible and 
therefore a danger to shipping, still occur in places. 
Ab heute sind die Beschränkungen zu allen 
finnischen Häfen aufgehoben worden. 
The restrictions to all Finnish ports were cancelled

Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären von 
Tornio bis Pensaskari 10-40 cm dickes, morsches, 
dichtes Eis. Von Ajos aus zur offenen See kommt 
offenes Wasser vor. Von Oulu aus kommt bis nach 
Kattikankalla offenes Wasser vor, weiter außerhalb 
bis Oulu4 dann stellenweise lockeres Eis. Südlich 
von Hailuoto ist es eisfrei. Schwedische Küste: In 
den nördlichen Schären 10-45 cm dickes, morsches 
7esteis. Auf See kommen in der Nähe von Nord- 
stromsgrund und von Farstugrunden morsches, 10- 
40 cm dickes Eis, sowie einige härtere Schollen vor. 
Nördlich 65°N kommen immer wieder einzelne 
Eisblöcken vor. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelago 10-40 
cm thick rotten close ice from Tornio to Pensaskari. 
From Ajos out to sea there is open water. Out from 
Dulu there is open water up to Kattilankalla and 
then open ice occur in places up to Oulu 4. South of 
Yailuoto it is ice free. Swedish Coast: The northern 
archipelagos are covered with 10-45 cm thick, 
‚otten fast ice. At sea close to Farstugrunden and 
close to Nordstromsgrund there are areas of rotten 
10-40 cm thick ice, with some hard floes in 
between. Single floebits occur north of about 65°N. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Der Wind dreht von Süd auf Nordwest, bleibt aber in 
den nächsten Tagen überwiegend schwach. Die 
Temperaturen erreichen auf See Werte um die +5°C, 
an der Küste ist es aber bedeutend wärmer. Der 
=isrückgang setzt sich weiter fort, das Festeis wird 
sich weiterhin langsam von der Küste lösen und 
dann mit den Wind verdriften, insgesamt gesehen

The wind will slowly veer from southerly to north- 
westerly directions, wind speed will be low during 
the next days. The air temperatures will reach 
values of about 5°C at sea, but much higher values 
at the coast. The ice retreat will continue and the 
fast ice will continue to detach from the coast and
