Übersicht 
Das Eis in Norra Kvarken, in den Schären der 
südlichen Bottenvik und auf Saimaasee nimmt weiter 
ab, sonst haben sich die Eisverhältnisse im 
nördlichen Bottnischen Meerbusen seit gestern nicht 
esentlich geändert. 
Ab heute sind die Schifffahrtsbeschränkungen für 
Ängermanälv aufgehoben, für die schwedischen 
Bottenvikhäfen wurden sie herabgesetzt. 
Saimaasee 
Im Nordteil liegt morsch werdendes 20-30 cm dickes 
Eis, im zentralen Teil ist das Eis 5-10 cm dick und 
morsch. Der Saimaa Kanal ist eisfrei. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären von 
Vaasa liegen dünne morsche Eisreste, sonst eisfrei. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 30-60 
om dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon treiben im 
Bereich zwischen Kemi und Kemi 2 einzelne 
=isschollen. Zwischen Oulu und Löyhä kommt 
offenes Wasser, dann bis Oulu 3 Festeis vor. 
Außerhalb Raahe treibt westwärts bis Heikinkarı 
lockeres Eis. Sonst tritt auf See offenes Wasser auf. 
n den südlichen inneren Schären liegen dünne 
morsche Eisreste, der Seebereich ist eisfrei. 
Schwedische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 25- 
50 cm dickes Festeis. Die Eisgrenze auf See verläuft 
stwa von 12 sm südöstlich von Farstugrunden in 
südwestlicher Richtung bis zur Breite von 
Blackkallen. Westlich dieser Linie tritt wechselweise 
Herstellung und Vertrieb

Overview 
The ice in MNorra Kvarken, in the southern 
archipelago of the Bay of Bothnia and on the Lake 
Saimaa is further decreasing. Otherwise, the ice 
conditions in the northern Gulf of Bothnia have not 
changed very much since yesterday. 
From today, the restrictions to navigation for 
Ängermanälv are cancelled, for the Swedish 
harbours in the Bay of Bothnia they have been 
alleviated. 
Lake Saimaa 
In the northern part there is 20-30 cm thick rottening 
ice, in the central part 5-10 cm thick rotten ice occurs. 
The Saimaa Canal is ice- free. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago of Vaasa 
there are remnants of thin rotten ice, else ice-free. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelago 30-60 
cm thick fast ice. Off the fast ice some ice floes are 
drifting in the area between Kemi and Kemi 2. 
Between QOulu and Löyhä there is open water, then 
to Oulu 3 fast ice. Off Raahe westwards to 
Heikinkari open ice is drifting. Else at sea there is 
pen water. In the southern inner archipelagos 
‚emnants of thin rotten ice occur, the sea area is 
ce-free. Swedish Coast: The northern archipelago 
are covered with 25-50 cm thick fast ice. The ice 
imits runs approximately from 12 nm southeast of 
Farstugrunden in southwesterly direction to the 
atitude of Blackkallen. West of this line there is 
alternating close to very open 10-40 cm thick drift
