Übersicht 
An den Küsten der nördlichen Bottenvik lagen die 
Lufttemperaturen bereits heute früh um 0“, an den 
Küsten des Finnischen Meerbusens herrscht noch 
leichter bis mäßiger Frost. In der Kronstadtbucht und 
in der Vyborgbucht bildete sich über Nacht Neueis. 
- Die ersten Schifffahrtsbeschränkungen für die 
schwedischen Häfen Karlsborg und Luleä sowie für 
den nördlichen Ängermanälv treten mit Wirkung vom 
20. Dezember in Kraft 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: - Mälarsee: Eisfrei. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
kommt dunkler Nilas vor. Weiter im Fahrwasser bis 
zur Ostspitze von Kotlin tritt kompaktes 5-15 cm 
dickes, teilweise Übereinandergeschobenes Eis, 
dann bis zur Westspitze von Kotlin dunkler Nilas auf. 
- Die geschützten Bereiche in der inneren 
Vyborgbucht sind mit 5-15 cm dickem Festeis 
Dedeckt, im Fahrwasser hat sich dunkler Nilas 
gebildet. 
Bottensee 
Schwedische Küste: Dicht an der Küste südwärts 
vis Härnösand tritt Neueis auf. Auf dem 
Ängermanälv kommt nördlich der Sandöbrücke 10- 
20 cm dickes Festeis, südlich davon Neueis vor. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
Neueis vor. - Schwedische Küste: Von Umeä 
südwärts tritt dicht an der Küste Neueis auf.

Overview 
Air temperatures measured at the coasts of the 
northern Bay of Bothnia this morning are about 0, 
at the coasts of the Gulf of Finland light to moderate 
irost occurs. In the Kronstadt Bay and in the Vyborg 
Bay new ice has formed over the night. 
The first restrictions to navigation for the swedish 
harbours Karlsborg and Luleä as well as for 
northern Ängermanälv will be valid from December, 
20°. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: Ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
there is dark nilas. Farther out on the fairway up to 
the eastern point of Kotlin there is compact 5-15 cm 
thick ice, partly rafted, then up to western point of 
Kotlin dark nilas occurs. - Sheltered areas in the top 
af the Vyborg Bay are covered by 5-15 cm thick fast 
ice, on the fairway dark nilas has formed. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Swedish Coast: Close to the coast southwards to 
Härnösand there is new ice. On the Ängermanälv 
north of the Sandö Bridge there is 10-20 cm thick 
fast ice. south of it new ice occurs. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is 
new ice. - Swedish Coast: From Umeä southwards 
there is new ice in the areas close to the coast.
