Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 25-60 cm dickes 
-esteis. Außerhalb davon tritt westlich der Linie 
-arstugrunden — MNorströmsgrund — Bjuröklubb 
größtenteils sehr dichtes, 20-40 cm dickes, teilweise 
aufgepresstes Eis auf. Es kommen vereinzelt aber 
auch zusammengefrorene, bis zu 50 cm dicke 
Schollen vor. In der Skellefteä Bucht liegt überein- 
andergeschobenes Eis. Lockeres Eis kommt südlich 
und südwestlich von Malören vor, einzelne grobe 
Eisschollen treiben im zentralen Teil etwa 40sm 
nordöstlich von Bjuröklubb langsam nach Süd- 
westen. Ansonsten meistens offenes Wasser. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Im östlichen Finnischen Meerbusen wird in den 
nächsten Tagen auch das restliche Eis vollständig 
abschmelzen. Auch in der Bottensee und in Norra 
Kvarken setzt sich der Eisrückgang fort. In der 
Bottenvik lockert sich das Eis durch den drehenden 
und abschwächenden Wind im westlichen Teil etwas 
auf. Im Norden kann es Nachts zu geringer Neueis- 
bildung kommen, insgesamt werden sich aber die 
Eisverhältnisse nicht wesentlich verändern.

thick fast ice. Farther off west of the line 
Farstugrunden — Norströmsgrund — Bjuröklubb 
there is mostly very close, 20-40 cm thick, partly 
‘idged ice. But in between there are also single 
frozen up to 50 cm thick heavy floes. The Skellefteä 
Bight is covered by rafted ice. South and Southwest 
of Malören there is open ice, some single heavy 
floes are slowly drifting towards the southwest in 
the central part, about 40nm southwest of 
Bjuröklubb. Else at sea mostly open water. 
Expected Ice Development 
The remaining ice in the eastern Gulf of Finland will 
melt and disappear in the course of the next days. 
In the Sea of Bothnia and Norra Kvarken the ice 
retreat will continue, too. In the Bay of Bothnia the 
ce in the western part will, due to veering and 
weakening winds, loosen up a little bit. In the 
northern part some new ice can form over night. 
But overall the ice conditions will not change 
considerably
