Übersicht 
Über das Wochenende ist das Eis im Ostteil des 
-innischen Meerbusens weiter zurückgegangen. In 
der nördlichen Bottenvik hat sich etwas Neueis 
gebildet, insgesamt haben sich die Verhältnisse aber 
nicht wesentlich verändert. 
Heute wurden die Schifffahrtsbeschränkungen zu 
den Häfen Kokkola, Pietarsaari und Vaasa aufge- 
hoben. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: Das Eis auf dem Saimaasee wird 
morsch und ist im nördlichen Teil 20-30 cm dick und 
im Südteil sowie im Saimaa Kanal 5-25 cm dick. 
Russische Küste: In dem nördlichen Teil der 
Vyborgbucht kommt noch morsches, lockeres bis 
sehr lockeres Eis vor. 
Bottensee 
Schwedische Küste: Lockeres morsches Eis, 10- 
15 cm dick kommt auf dem nördlichen Änger- 
manälv vor. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Storhästen 
liegt 10-30 cm dickes morsches Eis, außerhalb 
davon kommt offenes Wasser vor. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 30-60 
om dickes Festeis. Die südlichen Schären sind mit 
dünne, morschem Eis bedeckt. Außerhalb des 
-esteises treiben bis zur Breite von Marjaniemi 
Eisbrei und vereinzelte grobe Schollen, weiter 
südlich kommt offenes Wasser vor. Schwedische

Overview 
The ice in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland 
has further decreased over the weekend. In the 
1orthern Bay of Bothnia some new ice has formed, 
else the ice condition has not changed very much. 
Effective today the traffic restrictions to the ports of 
Kokkola, Pietarsaari and Vaasa have been 
cancelled. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: On the northern Lake Saimaa there 
’s 20-30 cm thick rottening ice , in the southern part 
as well as in the Saimaa Canal 5-25 cm thick 
‚ottening ice. Russian Coast: Open to very open, 
‚otten ice is still present in the northern part of the 
Vyborg Bay. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Swedish Coast: On the northern Ängermanälv 
there is open 10-15 cm thick rotten ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and Storhästen 
there is 10-30 cm thick rotten ice, farther out open 
water occurs. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelago 30-60 
cm thick fast ice. Off the fast ice there is drifting 
shuga and single thick floes approximately to the 
‚atitude of Marjaniemi, farther south open water. In 
the southern archipelagos there is thin rotten ice,
