Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik treibt weiterhin zur 
schwedischen Küste und liegt konzentriert westlich 
der Linie 15 Seemeilen östlich von Farstugrunden — 
südlich von Simpgrundet — Biuröklubb. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is further on drifting 
towards the Swedish coast and is concentrated 
west of the line 15 nautical miles east of 
Farstugrunden — south of Simpgrundet — 
Bjuröklubb. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: On the northern Lake Saimaa there 
ıs 20-40 cm thick, in the southern part as well as in 
the Saimaa Canal 10-30 cm thick ice. Russian 
Coast: The fairway to St. Petersburg is mostly ice- 
free. - In Berkezund very open rotten ice is drifting. - 
The Vyborg Bay is covered by very close 15-20 cm 
thick and close 5-15 cm thick ice, the entrance is ice 
free. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: Auf dem nördlichen Saimaasee 
kommt 20-40 cm dickes, im Südteil sowie im Saimaa 
Kanal 10-30 cm dickes Eis vor. Russische Küste: 
Das Fahrwasser nach St. Petersburg ist 
überwiegend eisfrei. - Im Berkezund treibt sehr 
lockeres morsches Eis. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 
sehr dichtem 15-20 cm dicken und dichtem 5-15 cm 
dicken Eis bedeckt, die Einfahrt ist eisfrei. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: Überwiegend eisfrei. 
Schwedische Küste: Auf dem nördlichen 
Ängermanälv kommt lockeres 10-15 cm dickes 
morsches Eis vor. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Storhästen 
liegt 10-30 cm dickes morsches Eis, außerhalb 
davon kommt offenes Wasser vor. Schwedische 
Küste: Auf See kommt überwiegend offenes Wasser 
vor. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: Mosily ice-free. Swedish Coast: 
On the northern Angermanälv there is open 10-15 
cm thick rotten ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and Storhästen 
there is 10-30 cm thick rotten ice, farther out open 
water. Swedish Coast: At sea mostly open water 
Occurs. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 30-60 
om dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt 
zwischen Kemi 3 und Oulu 1 offenes Wasser vor, 
sonst ist das Seegebiet nahezu eisfrei. Die südlichen 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelago 30-60 
cm thick fast ice. Off the fast ice there is open water 
vetween Kemi 3 and Oulu 1, else the sea area is 
virtually open. In the southern archipelagos there is
