Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik treibt langsam südwärts und 
as bildet sich weiterhin Neueis, Im Finischen 
Meerbusen sind einige Gebiete mit lockeren Eis 
nach Westen verdriftet. Sonst haben sich die 
Eisverhältnisse im nördlichen Ostseeraum seit 
gestern nicht wesentlich geändert. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
Srtlich dünnes Eis vor. Russische Küste: In den 
Häfen von St. Petersburg kommt stellenweise sehr 
lockeres Eis vor. Weiter westwärts bis zur Länge der 
Ostspitze von Koltlin tritt im Fahrwasser dichtes und 
sehr dichtes, 15-25 cm dickes, teilweise hügelig 
aufgepresstes Eis auf. Anschließend kommt bis zur 
Länge des Leuchtturms Tolbuchin offenes Wasser 
vor. Im Fahrwasser treiben bis nördlich von Seskar 
vereinzelt Streifen mit sehr lockerem bis dichtem Eis. 
Ein Gebiet mit lockerem Eis liegt zwischen den 
Leuchttürmen Hally und Nerva. - Im Berkezund liegt 
kompaktes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, die Einfahrt ist 
eisfrei. - In der Vyborgbucht liegt 15-25 cm dickes 
Zesteis und kompaktes 10-20 cm dickes Eis, die 
Einfahrt ist eisfrei. 
Schärenmeer 
Überwiegend offenes Wasser. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is slowly drifting 
southwards and new ice formation continues. In the 
Gulf of Finland some areas with open ice have 
drifted westwards. Otherwise, ice conditions in the 
1orthern region of the Baltic Sea have not changed 
very much since yesterday. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is thin 
ce, in places. Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Petersburg there is very open ice in places. Farther 
out on the fairway up to the longitude of the eastern 
point of the island Kotlin there is 15-25 cm thick, close 
and very close ice, which is partly hummocked. 
Farther westwards there is open water up to the 
ongitude of the lighthouse Tolbuchin. Single Stripes 
of very open to close ice are drifting in the fairway all 
the way to the north of the island Seskar. An area of 
open ice occurs between the lighthouse Hally and the 
ighthouse Nerva. - In Berkezund there is compact 
10-15 cm thick ice, the entrance is ice free. - The 
Vyborg Bay is covered by 15-25 cm thick fast ice and 
compact 10-20 cm thick ice, the entrance is ice-free.
