Übersicht 
Das Eis auf See in der Bottenvik treibt seit gestern 
nordwärts bis nordwestwärts. Die Eisgrenze verläuft 
jetzt etwa auf der Breite von Hailuoto. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is drifting northwards 
to northwestwards since yesterday. The ice edge 
runs today at the latitude of Hailuoto. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is thin 
‘ce, in places. Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Petersburg there is compact 10-15 cm thick ice. 
Farther out on the fairway up to the longitude of 
Kronstadt there is 15-30 cm thick very close, partly 
ıummocked ice. Farther westwards up to the 
:ongitude of the eastern point of island Bol'Soj 
Ber'ozovyj there is very open 5-15 cm thick ice. - In 
Berkezund compact 10-15 cm thick ice, in the 
antrance nilas, 5-15 cm thick. - The Vyborg Bay is 
covered by 20-35 cm thick fast ice and compact 10- 
20 cm thick ice, in the entrance very open ice is 
drifting. - The Luga and Kopora Bays are ice-free. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
örtlich dünnes Eis vor. Russische Küste: In den 
Häfen von St. Petersburg liegt kompaktes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts bis zur Länge von 
Kronstadt tritt im Fahrwasser sehr dichtes 15-30 cm 
dickes, teilweise hügelig aufgepresstes Eis auf, 
Anschließend kommt bis zur Länge von Ostspitze 
der Insel Bol'Soj Ber'ozovyj sehr lockeres 5-15 cm 
dickes Eis vor. - Im Berkezund kompaktes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis, in der Einfahrt Nilas, 5-15 cm dick. - In 
der Vyborgbucht liegt 20-35 cm dickes Festeis und 
<ompaktes 10-20 cm dickes Eis, in der Einfahrt treibt 
sehr lockeres Eis. - Die Kopora- und Lugabucht sind 
aisfrei. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt örtlich dünnes Eis. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt örtlich 
dünnes Eis. Schwedische Küste: Der nördliche 
Ängermanälv ist mit 10-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is thin ice in places. 
Sea of Bothnia

in places. Swedish Coast: The _northern 
Ängermanälv is covered with 10-30 cm thick fast 
ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten liegt 
10-30 cm dickes Festeis, weiter außerhalb kommt 
offenes Wasser vor. Schwedische Küste: In der 
Einfahrt zum Holmsund kommt teilweise sehr dichtes
