Übersicht 
In der Bottenvik hat sich die Neueisbildung 
‘ortgesetzt und die Eisgrenze hat sich nach knapp 
südlich von 65°N verschoben. In den anderen 
Gebieten keine großen Änderungen. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt an der 
Nordostküste ein sehr schmaler Festeissaum, 
außerhalb davon treibt örtlich Nilas. Der Moonsund 
ist eisfrei. 
Overview 
New ice formation in the Bay of Bothnia has 
zontinued and the ice edge is now a little bit south 
of 65°N. In the other Baltic regions the ice situation 
has not changed very much. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is a very 
1arrow belt of fast ice on the northeastern coast, 
and farther off nilas is drifting in places. Moonsund 
is ice-free., 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is thin 
ice, in places. Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Petersburg there is compact 10-15 cm thick ice, in 
places. Farther out on the fairway up to the longitude 
of Kronstadt there is 15-25 cm thick very close, partly 
1ummocked ice, towards the south there are areas of 
open water. Farther westwards there is compact 5-10 
cm thick ice up to the longitude of lighthouse 
Krasnaja Gorka, then mostly open water. - In 
Berkezund compact 5-10 cm thick ice occurs. - The 
Vyborg Bay is covered by 15-25 cm thick fast ice and 
compact 10-15 cm thick ice. the entrance is ice-free. - 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
Srtlich dünnes Eis vor. Russische Küste: In den 
Häfen von St. Petersburg liegt örtlich kompaktes 10- 
15 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts bis zur Länge 
von Kronstadt tritt im Fahrwasser sehr dichtes 15-25 
zm dickes, teilweise hügelig aufgepresstes Eis auf, 
nach Süden hin stellenweise auch offenes Wasser. 
Anschließend kommt bis zur Länge vom Leuchtturm 
Krasnaja Gorka kompaktes 5-10 cm dickes Eis, dann 
überwiegend offenes Wasser vor. - Im Berkezund 
'ritt kompaktes 5-10 cm dickes Eis auf. - In der 
Vyborgbucht liegt 15-25 cm dickes Festeis und 
kompaktes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, die Einfahrt ist 
gisfrei.

In den inneren Schären kommt örtlich dünnes Eis 
vor.
