Übersicht 
Mit südlichen Winden fließt weiterhin milde 
Meeresluft in den nördlichen Ostseeraum ein. Das 
dünne Eis wird langsam an der Nordküste der 
Bottenvik zusammengeschoben, sonst haben sich 
die Eisverhältnisse seit gestern nicht wesentlich 
verändert. 
Overview 
Mild maritime air is flowing with southerly winds into 
ihe northern region of the Baltic Sea further on. 
Thin ice is slowly compacted on the northern coast 
of the Bay of Bothnia. Otherwise, ice conditions 
have not changed very much since yesterday. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: - Mälarsee: Eisfrei 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
und im Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Kotlin kommt 
kompaktes 10-15 cm dickes, teilweise übereinander- 
geschobenes Eis vor, weiter westwärts eisfrei. - Die 
ınnerste Vyborgbucht ist mit 10-15 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt, dann tritt bis zur Insel Vichrevoy 
kompaktes 5-10 cm dickes Eis auf. 
Bottensee 
Schwedische Küste: Auf dem Ängermanälv kommt 
nördlich der Sandöbrücke 5-10 cm dickes Festeis 
und lockeres Treibeis vor. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: Ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
and on the fairway up to the longitude of Kotlin there 
ıs compact 10-15 cm thick ice, partly rafted, farther 
westwards ice-free. - In the top of Vyborg Bay there is 
10-15 cm thick fast ice, farther out to the island 
Vichrevoy compact 5-10 cm thick ice occurs. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Swedish Coast: On the Ängermanälv north of the 
Sandö Bridge there is 5-10 cm thick fast ice and 
open drift ice. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelago there is 
3-12 cm thick level ice, farther out new ice occurs in 
places. - Swedish Coast: In the northern 
archipelago 5-15 cm thick fast ice or compact drift 
Ice. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären kommt 
3-12 cm dickes ebenes Eis, weiter seewärts Örtlich 
Neueis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den nördlichen 
Schären 5-15 cm dickes Festeis oder kompaktes 
Treibeis. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Der Einfluss milderer Meeresluft bleibt auch in den 
nächsten drei bis vier Tagen im n6ördlichen
