Peenestrom 5-10 cm dickes Randeis unterschied- 
icher Breite, das Fahrwasser ist eisfrei. Im Kleinen 
Haff ist die Nordhälfte mit dichtem bis sehr dichtem, 
teilweise Üübereinandergeschobenen 10-15 cm 
dicken Eis bedeckt, im Südteil tritt 5-10 cm dickes 
Randeis und dichtes Treibeis auf. Auf dem 
Peenefluß kommt offenes Wasser vor. - Polnische 
Küste: Im Hafen Swinoujscie kommt dünnes Eis vor. 
\m Haff liegt 10-15 cm dickes dichtes Eis. Im 
Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie treibt lockeres 
10-20 cm dickes Eis. Im Hafen Szezecin tritt sehr 
‚ockeres Neueis auf. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In einigen geschützten 
Buchten und Schären kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Im westlichen und 
zentralen Teil liegt 10-25 cm dickes Festeis. Weiter 
Östlich kommt dünnes ebenes Eis vor. Bjorkfjärden 
ist zum Teil mit Neueis bedeckt. - Russische Küste: 
In der Zufahrt nach Kaliningrad liegt 10-15 cm 
dickes Festeis. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt bis zur 
Linie Liu — Tahku 10-16 cm dickes Festeis, außer- 
halb davon treibt bis zur Insel Kihnu lockeres bis 
dichtes dünnes Eis. Im Moonsund kommt in der 
Sstlichen Küstenzone 5-15 cm dickes Festeis, sonst 
im Fahrwasser lockeres Treibeis oder offenes 
Wasser vor. - Lettische Küste: Eisfrei. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Kundabucht kommt dicht 
an der Küste Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: In den 
'nneren Schären liegt dünnes Eis, im Östlichen 
Abschnitt bildet sich auch in den äußeren Schären 
Neueis. - Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. 
Petersburg lockeres bis dichtes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Weiter westwärts kommt im Fahrwasser 15-30 cm 
dickes Eis vor: bis zur Länge von Petrodvorec 
iockeres bis dichtes Treibeis, weiter bis zur Länge 
des Leuchtturms Tolbuchin sehr dichtes Treibeis, 
dann bis zur Länge vom Kap Seraja LoSad' dichtes 
Treibeis. Anschließend treibt bis zur Länge vom Kap 
Dubovskij sehr lockeres Eis. - Die Vyborgbucht ist 
mit 15-30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb 
davon offenes Wasser. In der Zufahrt kommt dichtes 
10-20 cm dickes Eis vor. - Im Berkezund treibt sehr 
ıOckeres dünnes Eis, in der Zufahrt kommt dichtes 
10-20 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären liegt dünnes 
ebenes Eis oder Neueis. 
Schärenmeer 
In den Schären kommt örtlich Neueis vor.

Kleines Haff there is close to very close 10-15 cm 
thick, partly rafted ice in the northern part and 5-10 
cm thick ice at the coast as well as close drift ice 
off the coast in the southern part. On the Peenefluß 
there open water. - Polish Coast: In the harbour of 
Swinoujscie thin ice occurs. In Stettiner Haff there 
is close 10-15 cm thick ice. On the fairway 
Szeczecin — Swinoujscie there is open 10-20 cm 
thick drift ice. In the harbour of Szeczecin very open 
new ice occurs. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In some sheltered bays and 
archipelagos there is thin level ice or new ice. Lake 
Mälaren: In the western and central part there is 
'0-25 cm thick fast ice. Farther eastwards thin level 
ice occurs. Bjorkfjärden is partly covered with new 
ice. - Russian Coast: In the entrance to 
Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is to the 
ine Liu — Tahku 10-16 cm thick fast ice. Farther out 
up to island Kihnu open to close thin ice is drifting. 
'n the eastern coastal zone of the Moonsund there 
ıs 5-15 cm thick fast ice, else on the fairway open 
thin drift ice or open water occurs. - Latvian Coast: 
Ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bay of Kunda there is new 
‘ce close to the coast. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelago there is thin ice, in the eastern section 
new ice is forming in the outer archipelagos, too. - 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
‘here is open to close 15-25 cm thick ice. Farther 
westwards on the fairway the ice thickness is 15-30 
em: there is open to close drift ice to the longitude of 
Petrodvorec, very close drift ice farther out to the 
ongitude of lighthouse Tolbuchin, then to the 
'ongitude of Cape Seraja LoSad' close drift ice. 
Farther off to the longitude of Cape Dubovskij very 
open ice is drifting. - The Vyborg Bay is covered with 
15-30 cm thick fast ice, farther out open water 
occurs. In the entrance there is close 10-20 cm thick 
ce. - In the Berkezund very open thin ice is drifting, 
in the entrance close 10-20 cm thick ice occurs. 
Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is thin 
level ice and new ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the archipelagos there is new ice, in places.
